HERE NOW:
In addition to the wide variety of summer and winter recreation, there are many superb amenities to enjoy that are already in place at Crazy Mountain Ranch. These range from a vintage western town to hotel accommodations to fine food and drink, concert and event space, and much more.
Deadrock, an Old West Town. This classic array of historic buildings has been assembled over the course of many years. Walk up Main Street on the boardwalks, & one will pass a jailhouse, a barbershop, a bank, a general store, original homesteads & more, including vintage hotels in which to stay, a large saloon & dining room with fine food & drink, & a pool hall & livery barn where events & concerts can be held.
Current Lodging. There are 53 hotel rooms in the town which feature period details, artwork & furniture. While completely updated with modern amenities, a stay in one feels like a trip back in time.
Horse Barn and Corral. At the far end of Main Street is the Barn and Corral. Here you can saddle up & head out for a trail ride to explore the ranch with one of the wranglers.
Dining. Our chef is focused on Montana-inspired cuisine, plus healthy foods that complement an active mountain lifestyle. Highlights include Prime Cuts from the Ranch’s own sustainably raised cattle, as well as local produce & foods. In addition to the saloon and dining room, there will be chef-curated dinners set outside in the open fields with the Crazy Mountains as a backdrop. Picnic lunches will be available for members to enjoy while hiking, fishing or horseback riding.
The Pavilion at Rainbow Lake. Overlooking the lake, The Pavilion is a beautiful setting for cocktails, appetizers & watching rising trout as the sun sets. It is also available for private dinners & parties.
The Fly Shack. The lake is home to a healthy population of large cutthroat trout that will eagerly take a fly. The 5 miles of Rock Creek that wind its way through the property are home to cutthroat and brown trout. To take full advantage of these angling opportunities, our Fly Shack is stocked with high end rods & reels, flies, & other gear, including ice fishing tackle in the winter. Our guides are highly knowledgeable about both waters and are ready to put you onto some great fishing.
Rendezvous Cabins. Set high in the sub-alpine zone of the ranch, these two cabins are a great way to spend a few nights, & provide the perfect setting to enjoy the high country, whether it’s heading out on adventures or simply relaxing & taking in the mountain views.
What’s to come:
Moving forward, an extensive array of exceptional amenities are planned for the ranch. Notable among them include:
The Deadrock Inn. Conveniently located at the northern edge of town, this new Adirondack-style lodge will feature 16 luxury suites, as well as common spaces for social gatherings, wine & whiskey tastings & more.
Spa and Fitness Center. A luxury spa will offer a variety of treatments, wellness programs, relaxation therapies, massage, yoga & more. The Fitness Center will feature a wide range of cardio & strength equipment, training classes, free weights, medicine balls, yoga mats, & more. The facility will also include an outdoor lap pool & hot tubs.
Tennis and Events Barn. The barn will feature two indoor hard courts for both tennis and pickleball, as well as two outdoor clay courts & four outdoor pickleball courts. The facility will easily convert to event space for concerts, private parties & large member or corporate gatherings. An outdoor amphitheater is also planned.
The Chapel. This lakeside chapel & spacious event lawn will feature views of the Crazy Mountains — a spectacular setting for weddings.
