HERE NOW:

In addition to the wide variety of summer and winter recreation, there are many superb amenities to enjoy that are already in place at Crazy Mountain Ranch. These range from a vintage western town to hotel accommodations to fine food and drink, concert and event space, and much more.

Deadrock, an Old West Town. This classic array of historic buildings has been assembled over many years to create a lively and authentic Western town. Walk up Main Street on the boardwalks and pass a jailhouse, barbershop, bank, general store, original homesteads, and more, including vintage hotels in which to stay, a large saloon and dining room with fine food and drink, and a pool hall and livery barn where events and concerts are held.

The Rainbow Lake Bar. Overlooking the lake with views stretching toward the Bridger Mountains, the Lake Bar offers a relaxed ranch-to-table dining experience centered around a wood-fired grill, smoker, and pizza oven. Partially covered seating, live acoustic music, and evenings spent beside the water make it a favorite gathering place throughout the summer season.

Horse Barn, Horse Corral, and Riding Arena. At the far end of Main Street sits the Barn and Corral. Here, Members can saddle up and head out for a trail ride to explore the ranch alongside experienced wranglers.

The Lodge. A welcoming lounge space designed for relaxed evenings and casual gatherings. Pull up a seat at the bar, catch a game, or settle into the patio where fire pits, comfortable seating, a hot tub, cold plunge, and sauna create an inviting place to unwind after a day on the ranch.

The Livery. Deadrock’s entertainment venue brings the community together for live concerts, square dances, movie nights, and seasonal celebrations throughout the year. A full bar, stage, concert-grade audio system, golf simulator, shuffleboard, ping pong, and a vintage Western-inspired photo booth create an atmosphere built for lively nights and memorable experiences

The Fly Shack. The lake is home to a healthy population of large cutthroat trout eager to take a fly, while five miles of Rock Creek winding through the property hold both cutthroat and brown trout. To take full advantage of these angling opportunities, the Fly Shack is stocked with high-end rods and reels, flies, and gear, including ice fishing tackle during the winter season. Knowledgeable guides are available to help anglers of all experience levels enjoy exceptional fishing throughout the Ranch.

Tennis & Pickleball Courts. One tennis court, two pickleball courts, on-property equipment, and a racquet sports professional available for lessons or match play provide everything needed for a great afternoon on the courts.

Aspen Grove. A peaceful wellness retreat offering massage treatments and experiences designed to help Members relax and recharge after a day spent exploring the ranch.

What’s to come:

Moving forward, an extensive array of exceptional amenities is planned for the ranch. Notable among them include:

Spa and Fitness Center. A luxury spa will offer a variety of treatments, wellness programs, relaxation therapies, massage, yoga & more. The Fitness Center will feature a wide range of cardio & strength equipment, training classes, free weights, medicine balls, yoga mats, & more. The facility will also include an outdoor lap pool & hot tubs.

Golf Cabins. Twelve private cabins sit along the golf range, each with four bedrooms, a living area, hot tub, partial kitchen, & outdoor seating. Depending on which you choose, your view looks out toward Deadrock & the Absarokas, or opens up to the Crazy Mountains. The first four are currently under construction & available year-round once complete.

The Observatory. The Shields Valley sits far from the nearest city lights, making the night sky above CMR one of Montana’s quiet revelations. A state-of-the-art telescope with a one-meter aperture & 6,000mm focal length brings Saturn’s rings, distant galaxies, & deep-sky detail into focus with exceptional clarity.
